What’s love got to do with it?

He wasn’t quite sure if he loved her, or if he’d ever loved anyone for that matter. But there was one thing he knew with unshakable certainty; a truth so sharp, it cut through his sanity like a hot knife through butter.

He knew that, love or not, he’d never been filled with such fire and simultaneously felt so cold before. The thought of her, alone, kept him up nights and lengthened his days.
