Sometimes, even and especially in moments of stress and high tension, it’s important to take time off for yourself. I know how the anxiety of swiftly approaching deadlines and the onslaught of overwhelming tasks can break you mentally until you feel paralyzed by confusion. I’m familiar with that feeling of drowning, not knowing which way is up; unable to pick a direction in which you’re confident that some salient solution awaits you.

I’m also well aware of the frustration that accompanies the stagnation of a life not being lived to its fullest potential. Feeling like you’re wasting away as the time flies by, aging you and everything in its path. Sitting by and watching yourself grow old as new beginnings are birthed all around you, almost as if to highlight your lack of evolution in their own.

But, like I said, in these times, it’s most important that you turn inside and try to discover what your inner self is attempting to scream out to you. Find and figure out what it is your soul is yearning for. It holds the keys to your peace. The sooner you are able to decipher what needs to be done to achieve this internal balance, all other things will fall into place. Tasks will seem less daunting and time will almost seem to have taken a brief pit stop. When this peace is attained, take full advantage of it.
