Imma be happy!

Today I woke up and I decided I wasn’t going to be sad anymore. I wasn’t going to be angry or disappointed or hurt anymore. I wasn’t going to bring my self down or paint myself as the villain in my own story.

Today I was the hero!

And I needed to save myself from that familiar ledge where I’d been ready to plummet to whatever cometh. Today I would not jump, but fly instead! Because today I woke up and I decided to be happy.
